”Câinele din iesle”
Un câine lățos și trândav căuta un loc ferit de soare, unde să-și facă somnul de după-amiază. Grajdul boului i se păru cel mai potrivit loc. Se așeză confortabil în iesle, pe paiele uscate și înmiresmate și adormi profund.
Pe înserat, când boul s-a întors ostenit de la munca în câmp, a vrut să mănânce din paiele pregătite pentru el.
Dar câinele, deranjat că boul i-a stricat somnul, a început să latre ca apucat de streche. Și de câte ori a încercat boul să se apropie, încerca să-l muște.
În cele din urmă, boul renunță la cina lui și se culcă flămând.
