Prichindel pleaca de la scoala. In drumul sau spre casa intalneste un catelus sarman.
Prichindel se apropie sa il mangaie pe Catelus , care cu ochisorii plini de lacrimi ii spune:

De mancare nu mai am,
Am avut un pic de os,
Dar l-am terminat de ros.
Da-mi te rog niste mancare,
Ca sa ma pot face mare!
