NU PLÂNGE, MAICĂ ROMÂNIE!
O poezie găsită în timpul Primului Război Mondial, în raniţa unui soldat român, mort în toamna anului 1918, pe muntele Sorica, din Carpaţii de Curbură, ilustrează fără egal patriotismul românilor de altădată. Poate că aceste versuri vor trezi şi în noi dragostea de ţară şi credinţa în Dumnezeu, care au însufleţit miile de ostaşi români căzuţi la datorie pentru propăşirea neamului românesc. Să înţelegem din jertfa lor, a bunilor şi străbunilor noştri, că lupta pentru unitate şi neatârnare trebuie dusă până la capăt, chiar cu preţul sacrificiului suprem.
